Slow Summer Days

May 31st, 2007

Today has been slow. Well, slow in that it seemed every task I tried to accomplish seemed to stagnate. I’m trying not to dwell on that too much. Time to focus on the positive, right? Let’s see, for one thing we got a great run in tonight. Though, the older Chinese gentleman wearing long shorts and walking sneakers kicking our butts the last mile was definitely humbling. Ah well. You can’t win every race right? Ok, well I did finally distribute some of my personalized postcards at the cafe I worked at for my upcoming show, Kennedy’s Children at the Duo Theater. Anyway, I made these nifty stickers to put on the postcards with my face on them to help people remember who I am! haha. It’s funny to see my face on real materials for a real show. Funny and great! Oh, and I’m meeting an agent from the Conan O’Brien Show this weekend. A big deal for sure! Plus, Rich’s college buddy is in town from Ecuador with his girlfriend. Tomorrow we’re taking them to Prospect Park for ML’s girlfriend’s softball game. Plus, we’re checking out my friend, Chris LaPanta’s, new short film, “Clandestine” at 9pm at Room Service in Manhattan. So all in all, not a bad day after all. And tomorrow? Tomorrow will be even better!
