Speed of Sound
In order to echo my feelings this morning, I’m hanging out to Coldplay. Despite my achey legs post-Sunday’s Coney Island Cosme Charity Race, I ran with Richie this morning and hit the gym. I also already gave Remy a bath. Considering that yesterday I didn’t get nearly enough done today is starting out much better. I can already see that finding focus will be a challenge this summer. Summer is filled with so many distractions- out of town guests, vacation, promises of fun left and right. Even Remy is in chill mode. He constantly finds that patch of sun in our apartment and basks in it. By evening, the day has disappeared right before your eyes and what have you got to show for it? At least I finally sent back my Netflix. We didn’t go to Bryant Park last night because our schedule got out of whack. However, we compromised and finally watched The Ballad of Jack and Rose which had been sitting in our living room for about 2 weeks. Wow. Excellent film. Stellar cast. One of the best films I’ve seen recently. It inspired me to possibly do a rendition of “I Put a Spell On You” in my next Albytes. In that spirit of love, the 60s, and rebellion I am including photographs from my recent show at The Duo Theater- Kennedy’s Children. When you watch The Ballad of Jack and Rose, imagine my character Rona- the 60s free-loving, activist- living on Jack’s island back when it was a commune. Okay, now I need some Dylan.
