Alba’s Back!

No doubt you’ve noticed my blogging hiatus. You can blame it on any number of things really, but when it comes down to it only one thing matters- I’m back. Keshia helped me find the real Alba today because the Alba we all know and love had been derailed as of late. To avoid paraphrasing, I’m just going to let you read for yourself how it all happened:

ALBAPONCEDELEON (4:09:43 PM): i need sit down with you and actually go over all the stuff josh and i sketched out and then mull out details with you about keshiacrosby.com. i think you will like working with him. he is excited about this project because i think he sees how practical it is, and we talked about the purpose in the short term and the long term. i told him that my goal as the producer is to develop you and this show to the point that we have enough viewership and readership that a network would want to buy out your image/show. then you can move on to bigger things and we have a pretty awesome program on our resumes. so basically it’s a let’s all bring ourselves up together thing.
KESHIACROSBY(4:17:27 PM): i see
ALBAPONCEDELEON (4:17:53 PM): because the best thing that can happen is that your site becomes so popular that they want more shows and longer shows, and it gets to the point that we can’t deal with that capacity. thus we take it to a network and say here is keshia’s show. we are bringing you keshia, who has this great following and a steady viewership. you should put her on your station. then you get paid way bigger bucks than we could ever do for you, your viewership gets larger, and we go on to the next small project we can develop
KESHIACROSBY(4:20:12 PM): u aren’t coming with me
ALBAPONCEDELEON(4:20:19 PM): because really it’s about incubating your site/branding. because the reality is, we are a small enterprise. we have to be realistic.
ALBAPONCEDELEON(4:20:26 PM): if they want to take me. hahahaha
KESHIACROSBY (4:20:34 PM): I will make them!
ALBAPONCEDELEON (4:20:39 PM): ok. hahaha
KESHIACROSBY (4:20:44 PM): i cant do it without u guys. sorry, thats my vision
ALBAPONCEDELEON (4:20:51 PM): trust me. you can. that’s the thing. right now we focus on baby steps. it will take you awhile to become comfortable in front of the camera. that much is just being realistic. we didn’t grow up on tv like paris hilton, so it takes us all awhile to figure out how to ignore the camera and be ourselves. and none of this growth will happen over night.
ALBAPONCEDELEON(4:22:38 PM): it’s going to require nurturing and a lot of decision making here and there and tweaking, but at the end of the day, i really think that this is something that is going to do you and your talents justice. and that’s why i feel like it is a great investment for us. because we can help start something i believe in, and help it take flight. and you will see, your confidence in yourself will grow as a result. not to say you don’t have confidence by any means. but i believe that this project will help you realize how much you are capable of. and when the time comes, you’ll be thinking of all kinds of directions to take your styling interest in. Bravo TV, TLC- watch out! keshia crosby is coming to town. you already have a famous name!
KESHIACROSBY (4:25:38 PM): what? how do u figure that. haha
ALBAPONCEDELEON(4:25:47 PM): it just has a ring to it
KESHIACROSBY(4:25:50 PM): oh ok
ALBAPONCEDELEON (4:25:52 PM): keshia crosby. the syllables are all balanced. it rolls off the tongue
KESHIACROSBY(4:26:15 PM): well i think u made some very valid points. and i hope that they come to fruition..
ALBAPONCEDELEON (4:26:27 PM): thank you. i try to do those things.
ALBAPONCEDELEON (4:26:36 PM): um excuse me. did you or did you not read The Secret
KESHIACROSBY(4:26:41 PM): haha! good point. they will come to fruition
ALBAPONCEDELEON (4:27:08 PM): baby steps. focus on each task and at each crucial point we make a decision and tweak as needed. we will succeed. you need a team that can work well and maintain perspective and a business mind in order to make an artistic idea come alive and manage it’s growth. and we have that and then some. so yeah baby, it’s coming to fruition.
KESHIACROSBY (4:28:38 PM): haha i like your attitude! Alba is back!
ALBAPONCEDELEON(4:28:42 PM): ain’t no such thing as failure.
ALBAPONCEDELEON (4:28:44 PM): exactly
ALBAPONCEDELEON (4:28:49 PM): I’M BACK! Yay!!!
